10th Tugun Lights Up
Tugun Lights Up 2022 will be the tenth annual event! On December 3, bring the family and dine under the stars at one of the fantastic local restaurants. Then look into local business specials or visit the Christmas market stalls for gifts. You might discover something you adore.
There is also plenty of children’s entertainment throughout the program, such as children’s character shows, live music, carols, and a special appearance by Santa! Along Toolona Street, there will also be roving performers, art activities, and more!

North Burleigh CAROLS by the Sea 2022
This December 8, you will undoubtedly have a fantastic afternoon and evening at Ed Hardy Park. ‘North Burleigh Carols by the Sea,’ presented by Division 12 Councillor Pauline Young, is ready to showcase free Christmas entertainment and fun.
Area Entertainment is open from 4 pm to 8 pm and features food trucks and market stalls. There will be roving entertainment, arts and crafts, and an inflatable and bubble zone for the kids. Then, from 6 to 8 pm, prepare for stage entertainment and Christmas carols!
Coolangatta Christmas 2022
Do you want to hear more Christmas carols? Then, on December 11, visit Coolangatta’s Queen Elizabeth Park, which will come alive with the spirit of Christmas. Division 14 Cr Gail O’Neill presents the Coolangatta Christmas Carols, a free family event.
Sing along to your favourite carols, take in spectacular festive performances, and prepare for a magical night under the stars on the Southern Gold Coast. And keep your eyes peeled as Santa will arrive by plane with plenty of entertainment! The Coolangatta Christmas Markets and food trucks will open at 4 pm, followed by the stage show at 5:30 pm. Keep an eye out for a spectacular festive fireworks display to cap the evening!
