Were you able to attend last year’s CREEKFEST on Currumbin Creek? If not, don’t pass up this opportunity. The 2022 version, which will take place from June 24 to June 26, will be more incredible. There are two outdoor stages and twenty live performances scheduled.
The artist lineup consists of emerging local talents.
Gaudion, a New South Wales Indie pop legend, headlines the first day. Kim Churchill, an Australian folk, rock, and blues singer, will perform on day one. Prepare to be wowed by Matty Rogers’ classic guitar abilities and enticing voice and Tahlia Rose, a Gold Coast-based singer recognised for her melancholy lyrics coupled with an alt-indie flair.
On day two, watch Alivan Blu, an Australian Indie-folk duo comprised of Jed Billington and Anna Stanton. There’s also Callum Creelman, who enjoys acoustic and intermit concerts. Do you like the indie-rock band with pop sensibilities? Cheap Date will also perform, as will Kallidad, a rock band from Bondi, singer-songwriter Kyle Lionhart, folk/soft rock band Nana’s Pie, and indie/garage rock Pure Milk.
On the final day of CREEKFEST, coastal folk musician Angus Kaftan will perform alongside one of the fastest rising singer/songwriters, Austin Mackay, singer-songwriter and platinum-award winning producer Garrett Kato, Gold Coast indie Pop duo Geniie Boy, singer-songwriter Luke Pauley, and pop-rock band Thirsty Merc.
CREEKFEST will be held at Currumbin RSL. The event is free and for everyone. Even though there is no need to register, admission will be restricted if capacity is reached. To assure entry, arrive early every day. Also, there will be food truck operators, a pop-up bar by local legend Balter, and more.
