Are you planning a family holiday? At The Rocks Currumbin Beach Accommodation, we will help you create memories. Simply book a stay in our ocean-facing one or two bedroom apartments and be ready for a holiday you’ll never forget.

Besides the sun, sea breeze, and stunning ocean views, The Rocks Resort is close to all Currumbin Beach has to offer. Below are 3 must-see places at Currumbin Beach during your family holiday.

1.    Surf World
Whether you’re a surfer or not, Surf World should be on your list. It is filled with history, legend, a significant collection of over 100 surfboards, artworks, clothing, memorabilia, photos, and other artifacts.
But how did it all start? The museum was an idea among local surfers, photographers, board makers and collectors. They worked together to push the idea then other collectors got involved as well as Sue Robbins, the late Gold Coast City Councilor. When she passed away, her sister-in-law, Councilor Chris Robbins continued the work. Finally, in June 2009, Surf World Gold Coast opened its doors to the public.

2.    Superbee Honeyworld
Everyone loves honey. But do you know how it goes from hive to jar? Visit one of Australia's largest packers of pure Australian honey and hive products – the Superbee Honeyworld.
At Superbee Honeyworld, you will experience the wondrous world of bees. Enter the glass room and see the bees at work. Witness the bees produce the honey while professional beekeepers explain the entire process. Besides that, you will also learn about the medicinal benefits of Royal Jelly.
And since Superbee Honeyworld provides honey products, you can taste it for free. Moreover, children can create their own beeswax which serves as a unique souvenir. The live bee keeping shows are approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The first show begins at 10am while the last show is at 4pm.

3.    Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Do you love nature and wildlife? Then head over to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and choose the adventure that suits you.
For thrill-seekers, take the TreeTop Challenge which includes 11 insane ziplines and the Croc Shock. Or, glide through the sanctuary in an eco-friendly Segway Safari tour. The fun doesn’t end there because there is more wildlife entertainment at the sanctuary such as Air Asia Free Flight Bird Show, Australiana Sheep Shearing Show, Dr. Doo-Lots, Croc Behaviour Show, and Aboriginal Dance Show.
